Hot off the heels of being an Event of the Year Finalist in the MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards, Killin Music Festival 2018 has sold 90% of all tickets.

With only three headline acts announced so far, festival-goers are urged to buy tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Blazin’ Fiddles are in prime position for the Friday main stage, with PeatBog Faeries heading up the Saturday night, and Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham taking to the Sunday concert stage. Another twelve acts are waiting in the wings to be officially announced. The total individual artists performing across the weekend will be over 100.

The Open Stage competition taking place on Sunday 17 June 2018 will welcome five acts selected from submissions received through the Killin Music Fest website. The artists will compete to win a spot on the Killin Music Fest 2019 main stage, along with a place on the Danny Kyle Open Stage at Celtic Connections 2019, and the coveted Killin Music Fest Open Stage trophy.

An upgraded session tent will return for 2018, running on Friday and Saturday afternoon.

The festival committee are working on increasing the limited capacity of the McLaren Hall, but cannot guarantee a new batch of tickets will be release.

Less than 100 ticket remain as of this writing – don’t miss the boat!
