Killin Music Festival have announced the lineup for their 2017 event, running 16–18 June 2017 in the McLaren Hall, Killin.

Alongside industry powerhouses such as Skerryvore, Mànran, Dougie MacLean, Killin Music Fest are welcoming younger artists creating their waves, such as Heron Valley, RURA, Top Floor Taivers and Talisk, to their packed lineup. The weekend will see multiple industry award winners take to the stage: BBC Radio Scotland’s Young Traditional Musician of the Year for the past three years – Claire Hastings (2015, Top Floor Taivers), Mohsen Amini (2016, Talisk), and Charlie Stewart (2017, Snuffbox); the Scots Trad Music Awards Live Act of the Year for three different years – Skerryvore (2011, 2016), and RURA (2015); and BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards Lifetime Achievement Award winner, Scottish Music Hall of Famer – Dougie MacLean OBE. Dougie has not played Killin for over 15 years, since being part of the defunct Killin Folk Festival.

Killin Music Festival 2017 looks set to be a memorable weekend once again. Tickets are already running low, with less that 25% left to sell as of press time.
