It is with very heavy hearts that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic the Killin Music Fest team have no alternative than to postpone our fifth festival, with the event rescheduled to 18-20 June 2021.
This is a very difficult time for all. Considering government guidance regarding social distancing and public gatherings, Killin Music Festival simply cannot run within the current circumstances. The health of our artists, festival goers, volunteers, suppliers and the wider public must come first.
Existing tickets for the 2020 festival will automatically be valid for the rescheduled event running 18-20 June 2021. We have emailed more information to ticket holders, along with a refund process.
The last thing we wanted to do was to postpone our 2020 event, which is why we had delayed a decision for a few weeks until the landscape became clearer, with a hope the event could still run. Our festival team work hard throughout the year to build the event and a mountain of organisation and prep work is currently in place with the event just a few months away, but the right thing to do in this situation is to postpone.
Artists and musicians are facing a tough time right now with so many cancelled bookings which effectively cuts their income to the bone. We encourage everyone to send some love their way and support them in any way you can directly.
If we can support at all during these difficult times, please do drop us a message – we’re here to help as best we can (firstname.lastname@example.org).
In the meantime, stay safe, let’s get through the next few months, and we hope to see you for a #KillinMusicFest weekend on the other side.
All the best from all our festival team,
Killin Music Festival
